Argh a page talking about yourself!

I'd rather talk about how I can help you feel happier, healthier, more confident in your body and get back that sparkle that makes life fun and exciting, coz that is exactly what I do!

I have educated myself through my own life and health challenges (details are below if you are interested) courses, certifications and hugely through helping my clients re-claim who they really are.

I help you to get to know how you truly feel about yourself and your life

Why you keep repeating patterns and feel like you self-sabbotage your attempts to get healthier.

I guide you to understanding the heart, brain, gut connection and how to listen to all three.

I don't just tell you what to eat and how often to exercise or suggest a load of supplements and let you get on with it!

We work together to turn your health and lifestyle around into something that works for you, is sustainable, fun and allow you to fully experience the life you want to have.

MY STORY

(if you are interested if not skip this bit!)

Divorced twice, bankrupt & a single Mum by age 30! I struggled and juggled my way through my thirties went to re-hab and started again..but I still had some baggage I needed to get rid off. By my early 40's my health was beginning to cause me concern, it was brushed off as my age, hen depression! I knew it was neither and so I began my quest to find out so much more than I already knew about the how the body, mind, gut & brain function together and how I could help myself & my clients to feel awesome without medication or crazy 'quick fixes'.

A little History

I was the chubby one with freckles & ginger hair and I always felt different, I didn't fit in with everyone else because of the way I looked, I was often referred to as stocky and well built and people commented on my 'baby weight'  and so my focus was on my appearance for way too long, taking me into Bulimia, Anorexia, over eating and back to Bulimia again. Throw in alcohol addiction and smoking too at 21 when I  became a personal trainer & exercise to music instructor, I certainly wasn't leading by example...

That lifestyle was already beginning to take it's toll on my body and my health, though I wasn't aware of it at the time. I was doing damage to my gut and my neurological pathways. I recovered from those additions but still battled with my weight and energy levels, rarely feeling 'fantastic' I felt I was just getting through each day, things needed to change and the catalyst for that was my parents ill health and seeing the deterioration caused by a poor lifestyle & medication.

Neurology, addiction psychology, understanding the gut & adopting a whole body approach, plus lots of research, testing different ways to live, breaking patterns that kept people stuck was already something I did with my coaching & personal training clients, but now I felt I needed to go much deeper.

Full blood testing really understanding what the results meant in relation to one another, not just in isolation, showed me exactly what was going on in my body (leaky gut, Hashimotos, heading for diabetes and a heart attack) and so I set about discovering how I could change things and improve my health in ways that were doable and sustainable.

Which is what I have done and can now help you to do too!

I did end up having a heart attack as the damage was already well established and I wasn't able to reverse that completely, but I was able to recover (without medication that causes horrendous side effects) and come back stronger from it afterwards and ready to help as many women as possible navigate the myths and crazy advice  being offered by GP's and other practitioners and find the path to health for themselves in a way that doesn't feel hard or impossible to keep up. xx

Enjoy Living & Thriving by First being Aware of your Thinking

What you think about you bring about and attitude is everything...

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?

Actually, who are you not to be?"

My favourite quote by Marianne Wlliamson as it something I have felt and I am sure you have too. As women we often feel our 'roles' in life mean that we put our light on the back-burner and allow others to thrive before we do.

I am on a Mission is to help woman  take a step into their own light, so that they feel happy, healthy, confident and at ease in their bodies, in their desires and with what their future holds. I won't do the work for you, but I will guide you every step of the way.
